Job Title: Energy Sales Specialist

Job details: $20hr + Commission; Dental, Medical, Vision Full-Time


Indra Energy is a leading independent retail energy company providing electricity, natural gas and renewable energy options to residential and commercial customers across 9 States and Washington DC in 64 utility markets. Indra Energy is currently seeking an Energy Sales Specialist to report to the Retail Sales Channel Manager to assist our company in expanding our customer base. The Energy Sales Specialist should have excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. You should also demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines and have a strong sales aptitude.


  • Responsible for engaging with customers, educating them on clean energy opportunities, and driven acquisition rates.
  • As the Sales Representative you will drive the delivery of excellence in customer experience, advocate for the Indra brand, add value and meet the customers needs.
  • The Sales representative will be the face of Indra and is responsible for new customer acquisition of Indra renewable services.
  • Proactively engage and interact with shoppers and educate them on the benefits of using 100% clean power with Indra.
  • Embody the Indra brand by articulating the positive impact of converting and creating a seamless enrollment experience for customers – which typically takes about 5 minutes.
  • Conclude the interaction by gaining the customers commitment to transfer service to Indra.
  • Share success stories with the team and leverage their support to formulate solutions to challenges.
  • Challenge yourself to exceed daily and weekly sales target expectations.
  • Report key insights about consumer feedback to Retail Sales Manager.

  • 18 years or older and hold a BS/BA degree or working towards one is preferable.
  • Must have reliable transportation to get to and from Retail locations.
  • Prior sales experience within energy, credit card, or door-to-door sales are preferable.
